The Sofa Doctor originally commenced business in 1990 operating under the name of Brendan McKinna Upholstery. While the name may have changed over the years, the principal craftsman behind the business, has remained the same.
Brendan McKinna continues to provide the same standard of excellence on every job that he has done over the past thirty years plus.

We have an Interior Consultant in house to help out and make sure you make the right decisions and get exactly what you want.
At The Sofa Doctor our client’s satisfaction is paramount. We look after your treasured furniture with the utmost care and attention to detail, and with over 30 years experience there’s not a lot we cannot do.
We only use reputable manufacturers/ suppliers and only top quality; and where possible locally made products, materials and components.

We take your colour and fabric preferences at your initial call and our consultant brings these to your appointment.
The consultant will give you a verbal price and this is followed up by a written quote that is valid for 3 months from the date on your quotation.

We also take the hassle out of insurance claims, we can deal directly with the insurer so you don’t have to.
